Face Packs for Dry Skin

Dry skin issues usually revolve around moisture. Dry skin’s thirst for moisture is quenched by keeping the body hydrated and applying plenty of moisturisers. People with dry skin suffer from scaly and rough skin. Applying moisturisers does help but sometimes skin asks for more hydration which creams or moisturisers fail to deliver. To improve the texture of skin, face masks and scrubs work wonderfully.

Natural homemade Face Packs work amazingly to improve the condition of dry skin. Natural face packs do not possess harmful chemicals, impose no side-effects and are cost effective. You just need a few items from your kitchen and your face pack will be ready in a few minutes. 

Here is a list of 5 Natural Face packs for Dry Skin -

1. Banana, Honey and Olive Oil Face Pack

Honey is an excellent ingredient to lock moisture in skin while banana and olive oil fight free radicals which cause ageing and damage. Olive Oil also regulates sebum production in skin. This face pack nourishes the dry skin deeply and improves the texture.

Ingredients Required-

- 1/2 Banana
- 1 tsp Honey
- 1 tsp Olive Oil

Method of Preparation 

Mix all the three ingredients to make a smooth paste. Apply this pack on your face and neck. Leave it for 10-15 min. After that, wash it off with plain water and apply moisturiser.

2. Yogurt and Honey Face Pack

Yogurt has many benefits for skin one of which is the moisture retaining property. Yogurt locks in moisture in skin and nourishes it. 

Ingredients Required-

- 2 tsp Yogurt
- 1 tsp Honey

Method of Preparation

Mix Yogurt and Honey well to make a paste. Apply this paste to the face and neck. Leave it for 15 mins. Lastly, wash it off with plain water.

3. Almond and Rose Water Face Pack

Almonds are enriched with Vitamin E which effectively removes dryness. Rose Water consists of Anti-Oxidants which helps fight ageing. Rose Water also hydrates and revitalises skin.

Ingredients Required-

- 8 Almonds
- 2 tsp Rose Water

Method of Preparation

Soak Almonds in water overnight. Grind Almonds and add Rose Water to make a paste. Apply this paste on your face and leave it for 20 mins. After that, wash your face with water.

4. Aloe Vera Gel and Cucumber Face Pack

Both Aloe Vera Gel and Cucumber revitalises and hydrates skin making it soft and supple. 

Ingredients Required-

Aloe Vera Gel

Method of Preparation

Grate Cucumber and add Aloe Vera Gel to it. Apply this paste and leave it on for 20 mins. Wash it of with plain water.

5. Milk Cream Face Pack

This face pack does not require special preparation or ingredients. Only Milk cream is needed. Milk cream is beneficial in adding softness and moisture to skin. It also removes tanning and dryness.

Ingredients Required-

- Milk Cream

Method of Preparation

Apply Milk Cream to face and neck. Leave it on for 15 mins and wash off with plain water.
