There are many creams, lotions and face packs available in the market to combat oily skin problems but these products are overloaded with harsh chemicals. Natural face packs not only give better results but they are gentle on skin, with no side-effects and are cost-effective. 

Few important things to keep in mind before we start-  
  • Always moisturise your face after removing the face pack.
  • If possible, exfoliate your skin a little using a mild scrub before applying a face pack. It helps in the better absorption of natural ingredients.
  • Always apply the face pack after washing your face. Clean skin ensures better results.
So, Here are Top 5 Natural Face Packs for Oily Skin-

Fullers Earth or Mud Face Pack

Fullers Earth is also known as Multani Mitti. Benefits of Fullers Earth for oily skin are known for ages. It possesses excellent absorption property and tightens the pores thereby reduces oil secretion.  It removes dead skin cells from surface and improves the texture of the skin. It also imparts glow to face. It effectively unclogs the pores and removes impurities.

For making this face pack, we need
  • Fullers Earth (2 tsp)
  • Rose water (sufficient to make a paste)
  • Lemon Juice (optional, 1 tsp)

Mix the three ingredient and make a paste. If you do not have Rose water than use water instead. Apply it on your face and neck. Leave it for 15 min. Wash off with cool water.

Gram Flour and Curd Face Pack

Gram Flour is also known as Besan. Gram Flour has an amazing oil absorbing property but it doesn't dry out skin. Curd acts as an brilliant moisturiser and helps in fading blemishes and acne marks.

For making this face pack, we need
  • Gram Flour (2-3 tsp)
  • Curd (2 tsp)

Mix Gram Flour and Curd to make a paste. If the paste is thick then little bit of milk can be added. Apply this face pack on face and neck. Let it dry for 20 min. Then damp it and scrub your face and neck with a light hand. Lastly, wash it off with water.

Honey and Lemon Face Mask.

Honey has antibacterial property and it moisturises the skin. On the other hand, Lemon removes excess oil and clears up the pores thereby letting the skin breathe. Lemon also lightens acne marks and blemishes due to its bleaching action. 

In order to make this mask we need
  • Lemon Juice (half tsp)
  • Honey (2 tsp)

Mix honey and lemon juice thoroughly and apply it on face and neck. Massage your face gently in upward and outward motion for 2 min. After that, leave the mask on skin for 15-20 min. Wash the mask off with water.

Honey and Curd Face Mask

This mask is helpful in fading acne marks and it makes skin soft and supple. 

For making this mask we need
  • Curd (3 tsp)
  • Honey (2 tsp)

Mix honey with curd and make a paste. Apply it on the face and neck. Massage it for 2 min in circular motion. Leave it for 15 min and then wash it off with water.

Tomato Face Mask

Tomato cleans up pores, removes dirt and refreshes the skin. It also tones and clears up acne.

For this mask we need
  • Tomato juice 

Apply tomato juice on your face and leave it for 20 min. Wash your face with water.
