Zinc for Acne

Studies have shown people with acne have lower level of Zinc as compared to people with clear skin. So the connection between acne and zinc deficiency can be anticipated. Zinc is an essential mineral for human body. Zinc performs many important functions in body such as gene expression, cell replication and growth and regulation of hormones. Importance of Zinc is not just limited to these but it is important for clear skin as well.
